Bovano of Cheshire has been in business for 54 years perfecting the exceptional art of glass enameling, which is a meticulous, time-consuming process. After the initial design, the production process includes hundreds of individual steps, all requiring great skill and diligence. And because each piece is enameled and not painted, the vibrant colors of these works of art will last indefinitely.

Bovano of Cheshire always looks forward in their thinking relative to available product and product styling. A few years ago, they began producing Winifred Cole floral designs, products that had, at that time, been produced for over 30 years. The Winifred Cole line includes wall art and tabletop sculptures and now Bovano's skilled artisans continue making these pieces, formed from quality ceramics, brass and copper.

Bovano continued its efforts to expand in 2006, by joining forces with sculptor Max Howard, a metal sculptor from North Carolina. Max Howard's designs, sculpted in brass and copper, feature many large wall pieces, as well as magnificent fountains and freestanding art, and are now produced by Bovano. Bovano has also produced a new "combo" line that features elements of their enameled glass sculptures melded with Max's copper and brass pieces.
