D'Argenta Collection

This exquisite art, produced by D'Argenta, is first created in copper and then plated with either silver and/or 24Kt. gold. It is due to D'Argenta's quest for quality in both material and craftsmanship, that D'Argenta is the leader in the export of metal-finished art since its establishment in 1976.

Each of the sculptures are a unique concept from reknown Mexican artists, which becomes classic. Each creation reflects the incomparable D'Argenta style, design, finish and exquisite beauty.

For centuries, the art of creating sculptures in precious metals involved the traditional process of hot casting. D’Argenta initiated a technological advancement where the D’Argenta’s artisans combined cold casting and electroforming. The polyester and fiberglass core, which reinforces the metal cover is then plated with a .015 inch thick (400 micras) layer of copper and then plated with Silver or Gold (24Kt}, at a thickness Of .001 of an inch (24 Micras).
