It is created with a 500 year old Royal Art Form of carving the outside figurine and then, using specialized tools, forming and carving the inside figurine through the holes created in the outside figurine. The result is a beautifully designed sculpture from one piece of soapstone that is truly amazing and has no joints and no seams. It is one single carving.
