Ruffian Horse Sculpture by Kitty Cantrell, Caroline Boydston and faithfully reproduced by Starlite Originals. Created in "Porcelon", a combination of fine porcelains and resins, and is limited to an edition of 2,500. Ruffian (April 17, 1972 - July 7, 1975) was an American champion thoroughbred racehorse. Ruffian was considered one of the best female racers of all time. Though suffering a tragic death she left a legacy for more humane treatment of racehorses.
